| Ah, the romance author. Living in a world of
black and white and glamour, silken scarves and satin cushions, having her every
whim catered to by a dashing-if-dangerous man.
Don't we wish? (But yes, that really is me.)
Like many authors, I put stories on the page as soon as I knew how to write.
I made up epics to pass the time on moves across country and back and spent many
hours having adventures. I even got the dogs involved, assigning them roles as
sidekicks and foes, a game that baffled my mother when I moved out.
Now I live in Northern California with my husband, cats and horses, dreaming
up heroes and heroines who can (and do!) overcome impossible odds.
